Paul Hamilton
SVP Origination 

A 15-year veteran of the commodities, structured finance, and energy industry, Mr. Hamilton is responsible for originating V3’s structured credit facilities with retail energy providers.  Prior to joining V3, Mr. Hamilton spent 5 years at Vantage Commodities Financial Services, LLC where he focused on capital markets, business development, origination, and M&A activity. Throughout his career, Mr. Hamilton has originated, structured, and implemented multiple credit and risk-transfer facilities, first and second lien and unitranche credit facilities, and reinsurance-backed insurance vehicles. In addition to his origination role at V3, Mr. Hamilton also leads the company’s M&A activity, including asset and equity purchases and sales of various retail energy providers.  Previously, Mr. Hamilton was with VMAC, LLC, a structured clearing facility for illiquid commodities assets, where he structured and developed exotic derivatives for clients in the energy markets.

Mr. Hamilton has a B.A. in History from Boston College and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law where he graduated cum laude.
