Harald Ullrich
SVP Risk / Head of Credit

A 15-year veteran of the energy industry, Mr. Ullrich he has held senior leadership positions in Quantitative Research, Risk Management, Information Technology, and Trading at leading companies.  Prior to joining V3, Mr. Ullrich spent over 10 years at Constellation Energy where he helped develop and eventually oversee the valuation and risk analytics framework for Constellation’s deregulated business. During the financial crisis of 2008/09 and its aftermath, he worked closely with the executive team on collateral optimization, liquidity risk management and planning, and on integrating commodity risk, credit risk, and capital pricing into one coherent framework.  After Constellation’s merger with Exelon in 2012, where he co-led the integration of the commercial businesses, Mr. Ullrich held various leadership positions at the combined entity.  Ultimately, he led the combined company’s Commercial Analytics team which was responsible for all pricing and valuation for both the wholesale and retail platforms, and for the front office risk system. Previously, Mr. Ullrich held quantitative front office roles at Mirant and Lehman Brothers. 

Mr. Ullrich received a dual degree in Economics and Computer Science from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, and an M.B.A from the University of Rochester, NY.
